3D Chess Gameplay Hits Mobile Phones

Posted: July 17, 2007

Hudson Entertainment announced today the upcoming release of Advanced Karpov 3D Chess for mobile phones.

In addition to cutting-edge 3D graphics that allow for multiple camera angles and impressively rendered chess boards, the game also enables players to challenge each other via local two-player matches for the ultimate head-to-head experience.

To polish up the skills of players who might be a bit rusty, two CPU opponents can be set to play against each other, giving gamers a valuable lesson in play and strategy for future matches. Should they feel up to the challenge, aspiring chess grandmasters can battle against the realistic computer opponents in an ultimate battle of wits and forethought.

"The original Karpov Chess title was a hit with gamers, thanks to its deep gameplay and advanced computer opponents," said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. "With this latest version, players will discover an even deeper experience, making it a perfect mobile chess experience."
