Glu Mobile today announced that it will develop and publish a mobile game based on Family Guy, the top-rated TV comedy among teens and males 18-49. Glu’s Family Guy mobile game will launch in 2009 through Glu’s agreement with Fox Mobile Entertainment.

“We’re delighted to bring the humor and characters of Family Guy, known and loved by millions around the world, to the mobile arena,” said Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu. “Family Guy is among the most popular animated comedies on television today and we look forward to translating the show’s hilarity and excitement within a fun, interactive, and engaging mobile experience.”

Family Guy is the hit animated series from Executive Producer/Creator Seth MacFarlane. The show airs weekly during primetime on FOX, and is syndicated on TBS and Adult Swim. Family Guy is currently in its seventh season.
