So you wanna be a doctor and help your fellow man… You probably watch E.R., Grey’s Anatomy and perhaps House to get a taste but do you REALLY know what it takes?  I sure thought I did until I was thrust into the medical profession and found that checking for ailments, giving shots, providing comfort and cleaning up can be much more chaotic and exhausting than I imagined…and this was all just a game!

Yep, Take Yer Meds! is a hectic new game where you are the doctor and must heal patients with all sorts of illnesses.  Every step must be followed to uphold your Hippocratic Oath and that includes directing them to their beds, diagnosing their condition, providing the proper medications and comfort, and finally cleaning up after them to deal with new patients.  For doing so, you will be rewarded handsomely by getting promoted and obtaining special items. 

Each bed is designated with a keypad button and so are the counters with medication and comfort items for the patients.  When a patient enters, you show them to their bed and diagnose their illness.  Once found, you’ll have to race to pick up their medication and distribute it to them.  Along the way, providing comfort items like pillows, flowers and teddy bears will raise their satisfaction level that will result in higher points tallied.  When all is cured and they’ve gone their way, you must then clean up the bed and replace the sheets for any other incoming patients.  One patient is simple enough but when your clinic is filled with multiple patients, you know you’re in for a long day.

For each level in the game, a clock will determine the hours of operation in your practice and given that this time is limited, you must work quickly to get through the most patients possible if you want to get the most points.  So, you can either take your time with only a few patients and go nowhere, or give it all you’ve got and make it to the big time.
