Two original games for mobile phones based on the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games are available today. Beijing 2008 – The Official Mobile Phone Game of the Olympic Games and Sonic at the Olympic Games take players to the greatest sporting event on Earth.
In Beijing 2008, players will compete in four authentic Olympic events – 100m, Hammer Throw, 200m Freestyle and Table Tennis. For quick action, players can jump into any event in Quick Start mode, or quest to set records and earn a place on the awards podium in Go for the Gold mode. Representation for 32 countries bring the event to life.
Created exclusively for mobile phones, Sonic at the Olympic Games invites players to join Team Sonic in a quest to make history at the Olympic Games. Compete as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy in five events including 1500m, 400m Hurdles, Triple Jump, Discus, and Javelin. A progressive gameplay style adds to the challenge as difficulty increases through the Qualifying rounds, the Heats and Semi Finals and ultimately, the Finals.
